研究简介
My research focuses on the impact of economic inequality (the wealth gap) as a social structural factor on the social perceptions, maladaptive behavioral strategies, moral judgment, and decision-making among various social strata. Furthermore, I investigate how the psychological and behavioral outcomes of economic disparity can contribute to a cycle of societal inequality. Methodologically, I favor an integrative approach that includes cross-national/regional comparative analyses with open-source data, time-series investigations, behavioral economic game experiments, and internet-based survey research to triangulate findings and enhance the robustness of my research questions. Looking ahead, my research will delve into the intricate interplay between economic inequality, early childhood socioeconomic status, perceptions of social mobility, fairness perceptions, and support for redistributive policies. The objective is to furnish theoretical underpinnings and informed policy suggestions to bolster the efficacy of initiatives aimed at poverty reduction and the promotion of common prosperity.
